Ovulation bleeding? 3 months post last depo

My last shot was in may 2017 and my last one was due on 08/03. Due to being BRCA 1+ I have internal sonogram every 6 months and my last one ended up on 07/03 as well where my doctor and I were able to see that my right ovary already had a mature egg and other follicles were "waking up" and my uterus was also thickening up. In short my body was ahead of the depo game.

I spotted for about a week starting 8/11 and I just started spotting again and, per glow, I should be close to ovulation.

Could this be ovulation spotting or possibly another period because depo is evil? Anyone else go thru this?
