Anyone have tips for dry scalp?

Head and shoulders is no good. I'm looking for some home remedies or maybe another shampoo that actually works and doesn't make my hair feel like straw. I have one spot on my scalp to the left of my part that is ALWAYS dry and nothing works!! Help!

Avoid shampoos/conditioners with sulfates, parabens, and alcohol. It'll cause dryness and buildup on the scalp. Sometimes if you wash your hair daily, it can dry out the natural oils in your hair and scalp. It's best to wash every other day or sometimes even more. Try a natural shampoo with tea tree oil in it too. I personally like the Yes brand or Natures Gate.

I have severe eczema and hypersensitivity. I use Desert Essence unscented shampoo and conditioner and I put 2-3 drops of tea tree oil into my palm with the shampoo. I had plaque psoriasis on my scalp until I started this.

I use head and shoulders but it works for me. to combat the dryness my hair I use head and shoulders first and scrub my hair deep then wash with my normal hair products. Since head and shoulders doesn't work I would recommend trying other dandruff shampoos. I have also heard coconut oil massaged into your scalp works good but I have never used it.
