I need to find this book!!!

Okay so a long time ago, maybe about 3 or 5 years ago, I read a book called The Playwright's Woman. It was a book of letters an Irishman was sending to his mother about a woman he had met in a bar while trying to build his career as a playwright. I haven't been able to find this book ANYWHERE online or irl. Someone please tell me I'm not crazy lol and tell me someone else has heard or read this book.
