Yeast Infection

So I noticed a change in my vaginal discharge a few days ago and didn't think nothing of it, until I started getting itchy. I then realized I have a yeast infection. If I have sex with my S/O while I have a yeast infection can my S/O catch a yeast infection from me? Will my yeast infection get worse if I have sex? What's the best way to get rid of it? What should I use to sooth the itch?
