Family reunion at 6 weeks?

My husband has a family reunion coming up tomorrow and just wondering if it would be okay to take her or should I just stay home I know ppl will want to hold her but I'm afraid she'll be stick but it would be nice to get out advice please

Do you have a carrier? I would take her, but if you're worried about too many people holding/touching just keep her in the carrier most of the time. (If you have one)

Don't let anyone sick near your baby and don't let anyone kiss your baby!! If your reunion is outside take some germ x for anyone you let hold your baby! If inside make sure they wash their hands. But if you decide to not let anyone hold your baby don't feel bad for telling people no!!

my husband also have s family reunion my baby is 6wks and couple days he had his shot when in the hospital but not his set of shots yet do I ask his doc she said it's find don't let alot of ppl around him holding touching n kissing keep germ x with I also agree with the carrier am going to try that I hate to not let them but it's my baby health...

no my baby and I were just in the hospital for a week. He was hooked up to IV and had blood taken 3× per day it was heartbreaking seeing my baby go threw that let alone being sick myself having a newborn to look after

I asked my pediatrician about this as I had a wedding to go to when my little one was about 4 weeks old. She said it would be fine that if people wanted to hold him to ask them to wash their hands. She also suggested to wear him so it would be harder for people to ask to hold him. I would go and have fun and feel empowered to tell people that you dont want them holding him just yet if you feel uncomfortable with it, your child your rules 😊👍🏼
