Pregnancy after birth Control.

I started taking birth control when I was 15 because of heavy flow and horrible headaches that came with my period. I was on it up until I was almost 21, well after a year of being off of BC i decided in January I wanted to get back on it because my headaches started coming back. So i've been back on BC for about 7 months now but my significant other and I have decided we want to try for a baby. How hard or easy was it for y'all to get pregnant after being on BC? How long did it take?
