Would it bother you if you found out your SO was texting his/her ex?

Say you bring your SO their phone, and notice a message from the ex on their screen. Not snooping, just happen to see the notification on the screen, asking if they're at work this morning. You confront your SO, turns out there's been a couple text exchanges the past week. Would you be upset? Would you shrug it off?

I would be upset that he didn't tell me about it. 
just like I know he's jealous and I'm still friendly with my ex's  so I always make sure to let him know I or he sent a message even when they are totally pointless messages.

Yeah.. my boyfriend was texting his first girlfriend and his first time. She was also the girl who, after he broke up with her, started shit saying he raped her and she was pregnant but lost it falling down stairs 😡 She caused sooo many issues during and after they were together so WHY IN THE HELL did he need to be talking to her still? I was so damn pissed. I told him how I felt and he still did it up until his friend committed suicide and he found him.. she asked him questions about it like "did it smell?" "what did he look like" 😠 Anyway, I would be totally pissed mainly because I've had bad experiences with it.

I feel like it really depends on lots of things.. some of his exes he is friends with and I've become friends with them over the years too.

I was totally fine with him chatting with his ex once in a while! That is until I she sent pics of her vagina and encouraged him to break up with me and come back to her. This is even after he told her he's met someone and he's happy! She's relentless 🙄 so I said no more, I just don't want/need to deal with that!
