When can I change a nose piercing?

I got my nose pierced about three or four  years ago and kept it pierced for two years after getting it .. it's been closed up for about 1 to 2 years now and I want to get it redone! I'm taking a new job, however, and I'm not sure if I'll be allowed to have it pierced. I end up getting it redone how long before I can change it to a clear one?

4-6 months for it to be left out and around 2-4 months just to be able to switch it to something else.
I recommend not getting it if you have to constantly take it out, just because if you forget you could easily have it closed up and you're probably gonna forget to clean the stud properly every time which would lead to bacteria in there and yeah 🤷🏼‍♀️

You should wait until it's completely healed to change it. If I remember right it took about 2-3 months for mine to be healed. It also got infected, which made it take a little longer. But I def wouldn't change it before a month
