Anyone else just have their baby??.....

And think to themselves 'why the f**k do people do this??' okay... granted I had an extremely traumatic birth (forceps, episiotomy, pain relief not working, blood loss & long hospital stay) but still... surely other women have had this thought in the throes of labour or after birth. How do women go on to have more babies?? I'd love to have another but the thought of giving birth again is overwhelming 😢😢

Because that's the beginning of being a mother and that's what being a mother is. You do anything for those babies. You Carry them in your body, sacrificing your figure and your comfort, you go through trauma for them, you sacrifice for your feelings and your time for them, you do whatever you have to do for them. And you do it gladly… Because you are a mother now.

Because you're gonna love that baby so much. And maybe (only maybe, one might be enough) someday you Will want to expand the love.
My son was colicky and High need for the first year. And for the first 8 months i thought 'why he hell do this again?!' But now We're wiser and know that this shit is tough as hell. But we love him, and We're gonna love the one that's coming march 2018 ❤️

Haha. Yea postpartum is that dirty little secret nobody talks about... after I had my baby I asked my doula "why didn't anyone tell me how hard this was going to be?!" She said "because you don't want to scare new moms" lol 😂 seriously though... postpartum is 1000x harder than childbirth... and nobody warns you at all. All I can say is shower, eat, sleep and feed baby... everything else is somebody else's job

I am a second time mum and terrified of giving birth again. I had been induced twice, first was a MC at 15 week and then my daughter who is now 2, both times I had my placenta get stuck and it has really scared me. But the overwhelming want for another child for many reasons and knowing the joy afterwords is helping me come to terms with the idea of going though that again. I feel it is because we know we are strong, womem are amazing and anyone who hasn't experience child birth underestimated a womens streath and most of all resilience.
