Mom doesn't want to be a grandma 😳

Anyone else have a mom who just doesn't want to be a grandma? - my daughter is 5 and I'm pregnant due in 8 weeks. My mom has never accepted her "grandma" status. She just doesn't want to help with the kids like.... ever! If I didn't ask if she wants to see her she wouldn't ask. She literally has only watched her when I have really asked her in like a no other choice type deal. She is single and lives alone- just wants to do her own thing. My dad doesn't live close & my husbands parents are across the country. Part of me is just frustrated with never having a break & the other half of me is sad for my kids. I was really close to my grandparents and spent s lot of time with them. I can't help but feel like my mom is a jerk.
