Little bit bummed with my levels

Mr

Backstory: I'm 42, have 3 kids from my previous marriage (kids....pfft, they are 21 & twins that are 18). New husband and I want to try for one or ourselves. Knew it was going to be hard bc of my age and the fact that all the females in my family are done with menopause by the age of 42. Decided to get my CD3 hormones checked (FSH & estradiol) this month since we worked it over my fertile period and still no go. Got the results today and, as expected, they weren't the nice low numbers of a nubile and fertile woman (duh).

FSH: 11.4

Estradiol: 114

Technically, these numbers put me into the "diminished ovarian reserve" category, not good but not out of the game just yet.

My question for all of you that had or are in a similar situation is, what is the next step? Did you do vitamins, was clomid (or the other one that isn't as harsh prescribed), or was it too bad your only option is ivf?

Already emailed my doc (actually PA), but she's in the mindset of "why when you are done, would you want to start over". I would like to keep the costs down since fertility stuff isn't covered in the States and I have zero budget. Is something like clomid only available thru a fertility specialist or can I try and get by trying to do this thru my obgyn? And I've already ordered Vitex, CoQ10, and DHEA to start this weekend.

Thanks for any and all input.
