Boyfriend went through my phone and no want to end relationship

My boyfriend went through my phone and saw that I text my mother a lot of things. He got real mad and pissed and told us to keep our opinions to our selves. REMIND you he went though my phone. *One texted happened a week ago and the other 2 weeks ago* The night before we went to a football game and was all good the whole week and Satuerday morning he woke up, wanting to get this things and leave. So I believe he went through my phone last night when I was sleep. He can't tell me actually when he did because the story is when you were sitting beside me I leaned over and saw y'all texting (I'm very cautions and careful when and what I text my mom when he is around so I know he had to go through phone) and number two. Said he saw her reply to a message I sent. But would have a baby if I did the same thing. Would I be I wrong if I got a privacy screen? And clear our my messages everyday?
