Would I be able to tell?

I have had my Liletta for almost 3 weeks now. I only spotted a couple of days afterwards. According to eve I'm supposed to get my period in 3 days. But I have been bleeding some. I can't tell if it's just spotting or my actual period. My cramps have gotten worse though. Were you able to tell the difference between spotting and your first period after getting your IUD?
