Need some help!!!

So I had my son on the 22nd I really want to breastfeed but he doesn't seem very interested in it. At the hospital they did formula feed him, he latches on but gets very fussy and I just end up formula feeding him since I don't want my baby to starve. The lady at the pediatric office said it's fine just to try and breastfeed every feeding. What can I do to get him at least a little interested? I will be getting a breast pump soon so I can at least pump. This is my second child my first I wasn't able to breastfeed but I really want to try with this baby.
