evap or be hopeful? :(

I'm on day one of my missed period. I tested this evening with a 3 hour hold. I THOUGHT I saw something within the time frame, but it did not become more prominent until I got home. the right is a test I took two weeks ago. left is taken today 8/27. should I be hopeful? Or could this just be an ugly evap?

If you think it's an Evap drop 3-4 drops of water into the urine deposit. If it's an evap it will wash out and if it stays it's most likely positive. Also if the line is a grey color it's most likely an evap. Good luck and baby dust 😌

I have exact same situation from yesterday and did the water test too. Not sure on my DPo but Af due in 6 days. Idk 😐 keep us updated.

Evap. Dropping water on it doesn't wash it away. Don't bother with invalid tests. Retest
