how many months did you start feeding baby solids?
I have been told by my doctor to wait until my daughter is 6 months old or until she starts sitting up on her own to start giving her solids. Well, she's 5 and a half months old and no where near sitting up on her own and something in my gut kept telling me that she's ready. I blended organic greenbeans and an organic apple together and my daughter sucked it down like it was my breast milk! She ate it all without spitting any out. I then proceeded to try other veggies and she eats like a champ. Not once spitting any of it out and eats the whole bowl. Does this mean she is ready for solids against my doctor's recommendations? I don't know if it is mother's intuition or what, but she eats better than she nurses..... any ideas or thoughts or suggestions?
