tmi what wrong with my throat?

its hurts when i open my mouth too wide or yawn etc. i wondered what it was so i took a picture and saw this on the side of my throat. i do smoke cigarettes im only 20 but have been smoking since i was 15 (not sure if smoking has anything to do with it just throwing that out there) do i need to see a doc? it does not hurt when i eat or drink. it also itches.

go see a doctor. that top picture looks like you have a laceration of the right tonsil. pain with opening the mouth sounds like irritation of the adjacent joint (tmj). It may not be anything emergent now, but going to the doctor now may prevent it from getting that bad!

Looks like tonsillitis.... I'd go to the doctors. Drinking cold stuff should help ease the pain, it did for me anyways.

maybe strep or thrush? not a doctor so I can't give you a good diagnosis. probably should go see a physician for a professional opinion.

Stop smoking. The sooner you quit the easier it will be. Coming from experience. You will start getting sick all the time, upper respiratory infections like four times a year. A lot of colds. It's not worth it trust me.
