So I asked my best friend to homecoming and...

So my best friend of 2ish years, I recently asked to homecoming and she was ecstatic. Today she sent me a message saying that "If she gets asked by a boy at her school she is going with them instead," and no she doesn't have a boyfriend ( that I would understand, if she wanted to go with him to homecoming). I'm pretty upset and annoyed because I've always been there for her but lately it seems like she won't ever come through for me. Thoughts ?
