Impactful Book Recommendations?

Hello! I want to read some books about life that were impactful to you and opened your eyes to the real world! For me it was freedom writers and tears of a tiger. Those books are really good. I'd like to read Fahrenheit 451 and I just got the kite runner on the mail. Does anyone have book recommendations? Any genre is good! I like it all. Thank you!
