Glucose test

Did anyone decide not to do any form of a glucose test? I've been doing a lot of research and I don't have any of the risk factors. My baby is also growing 4 weeks behind. I have had so much trouble with this pregnancy, I am scared of adding in that extra sugar. I have hardly been able to tolerate any sugar at all. I have read that you can obviously refuse to take the test, but I am just wondering if anyone has.
