My daughter was born last week at 33wks and will spend some time in the NICU. I developed an infection 36hrs after my csection and couldn't visit her and due to her complications haven't been able to hold her... until yesterday. I held her for the first time and oh my heavens, my heart flooded into a million pieces - but my body was killing me!!!!! It's amazing how your body responds to your new baby. As soon as her skin was next to mine, I started cramping and could feeling myself bleeding so heavy. My milk let down and I started leaking everywhere. It's just incredible.. it hurt so good
