Going overseas

My boyfriend says that everyone tells him that the first time you go overseas it has to be with friends. And that because everyone's told him that he won't go overseas with me but will with his friends.

Which makes me upset, like why the fuck should I have to wait until he's done that with friends. Like why can't we enjoy and have that memory together.

Is he just being cunt and saying that so he can have fun overseas with his single friends instead of going over with his long term girlfriend
