I never been in so much pain...

Me and my husband had sex yesterday. It was the first time in like a week. And I believe I'm having pain from it. Which is so unusual because our sex has been the same, and I've never been in this much pain before. I woke up this moring to major cramps, starting at the front of my vagina to my back. It hurts when I pee. And I'm so uncomfortable. Like I can't sit still or get comfortable at all. I'm to the point of crying, and I had to take medicine to hopefully stop the pain.....I this normal?
