Overnight trip away from babies

Casey

So I have a night away (our first night alone in almost a year) planned for my SO and I in October when our twins will be 11.5 months old. I know that at that point they likely won't be nursing 6 times a day anymore because they hardly want to nurse that often now, but I also know they'll still need milk in the time that I'm gone. My supply is basically completely accustomed to what they eat now, and therefore pumping doesn't produce much of anything, but rather ensure they just won't be as satisfied at the next feeding. We'll be gone for about a full 24 hours, but I'm just not sure what to do. My girl refuses to drink formula or I would just have them take that while I'm away and pump. Would it be wrong to give my son formula for a day or two so I can pump enough for my picky eater when the time comes? Or should I try to introduce formula to my girl in the next few months and just hope she takes to it in time? It's just for one day but I'm so stressed out about it!
