Retieval too early?

Question

Due to overstimulation and rising estrogen levels, retrieval has been booked for Monday midday. my scan this morning showed 42 follicles from 10-15mm. I'm worried they wont be mature enough enough though it is 3 1/2 days away. Any experiences?????

Hi Hun the follicle will grow 1-2 mm thats plenty time I also had OHSS and didn't have my egg retrieval till 16 days after my first injections so don't worry to much they won't retrieve the eggs if the eggs are too immature cause they won't make it fingers crossed for you xx

Mine started growing slowly and I thought I'd be ready on Wednesday to trigger but they weren't quite there so I went back Thursday and in less than 24 hours they all shot up 3-4mm so you just never know!

I haven't made it to retrieval, but typical during stim my follicles grow 2mm per day. I think that's pretty much the average, so you should be fine. Best of luck!!!
