White Spots in Back of Mouth

Hey guys so I woke up today with not really a sore throat (more like a knot on my throat that didn't really hurt much). I thought it was my allergies so I took my zyrtec & flonase & went to work. while at work i notice a bunch of tiny whites spots on the left side of my throat. I work at a doctor's office & we've had a bunch of positive strep tests lately so I figured it was that. I got a strep test & it's negative. any idea what could be going on? Like o said it doesn't hurt, just a bit uncomfortable. help me please...
