why point it out??

So i got a new welding job and I showed someone I work with a picture of me and my boyfriend. he is a big guy and I'm tiny. I know this. but the guy i showed the picture to was like it's great that someone as attractive as yourself will date someone like that. I'm thinking, someone like that!? does he think he's too unattractive or fat or something for me to date him? like I pitied him and started dating him!? I know my boyfriend is overweight. but to me he is still the most amazing, sweet, sexy, attractive, cute man I fell in love with 5 years ago. I hate that people are like good for you for dating someone like that. like no.... 😡
