Sex smell

So I know that there's a smell after you have sex and before I lost my virginity I didn't know that. I haven't had sex in a year due to my relationship having to be long distant for a little but my SO will be coming to visit and we would like to have sex. How can I have sex and there not be a smell. Will someone be able to tell even if I've showered? My mom finds out everything and that's what I'm trying to avoid.
