How will I sleep after giving birth?

Any moms out there absolutely have to sleep with a fan? I can't sleep without it for both the noise and I like the breeze on me. I've always slept like this since I was little and I just can't sleep any other way. We're planning to have the baby in our room in a bassinet. Will using the fan be okay if she's in the room?

I read an article that said having moving air in a room actually REDUCES the likelihood of SIDS. No issues so long as your baby is adequately dressed.

I cannot sleep without a fan either. Like when the power is out I sit up all not unable to sleep lol
My son was in my room with me for the first 5 months in a bassinet and we had no issues. I just made sure the air wasn't blowing on him. Only thing is now (he's 17 months old) he will not sleep without a fan either lol

I read that sleeping with a fan on is GOOD for babies. Moving air, white noise, cooler temps.

The noise, cool room, and circulating air have actually been said to reduce the risk of SIDS. Fan on, Momma!

Should be fine but you'll be so exhausted you probably won't even notice fan is not going! Good luck.!

Babies need a pretty cool sleeping environment. Can't imagine it would hurt anything, the noise may even help!

We are using one. I am the same way. I can't sleep without a fan. My entire family is that way. Even my nieces and nephews and they all had a fan in the room when they were babies.

I sleep with a fan as well and I plan on keeping it going.  Babies can withstand anything you can - think about the wind 😊
