hubby just shakes it off

Hi all! First I want to say that this post isn't to drag my hubby through the mud! He is amazing in every way and has been there for me through this entire TTC journey... Where Im saddened and upset is because finally! Finally after 5 monthes of trying AF is late and the reaction coming from the hubby is little to none.... Man it hurts my heart to write that out! We are out of tests and I keep asking him if we could go out and get some more and he kind of shrugs it off and doesn't seem the least bit of excited. I am trying to not make a big deal about this but... Ladies? Has your SO, main squeeze, hubby, just shrugged things as big as this off?
