IVF Process... What happens?!

Hi, my referral letter for IVF got sent off today from my GP, I have been having tests privately for a year and it has turned out that I have damaged tubes, could anyone let me know what the next stage is now please, letter goes off then what? Thanks...

I am right in the middle now. I just had my egg retrieval today!! With my first appointment my RE did a baseline ultrasound to see where I was at in my current cycle, then we waited until right after ovulated to begin on CD 1. Then I went back for another US and then they scheduled my Med teaching and planned everything out. So far it hasn't been too too terrible. The shots in the beginning are subcutaneous and just in you abdomen and don't hurt terribly. However, I start my progesterone IM shots tomorrow and I'm guessing they hurt a lot more.😨 Keep your head up and try to stay organized with your meds and don't get overwhelmed. It was a lot for me with all the meds so much to do and I'm a nurse so I somewhat knew what I was doing! Anyways, keep us posted on how everything goes!! Good luck and baby dust!!💗💙

Hi, 
I’m from the UK. I have a sort of similar journey. We went private for tests but difference is we have male factor infertility. We went back to the gp who referred us to the hospital because we had to have genetic tests before they’d start. They came back and was ok and then we was referred back to the private fertility clinic and are entitled to NHS funded 1 fresh and frozen. I’m currently waiting for an appointment at the end of this week for consultation and consent with the meds to start the next day. How have you got on as this post was a couple of weeks ago? X
