Brown countries?

So I was talking to someone about DACA, like literally five seconds ago. & they tell me that ONLY “Brown countries” will be affected. Brown countries? Now I immediately got angry. I asked about European countries, & they said no, they’re “white”. So I asked is this what the government said, & of course they said yes. 
So now I just want to know how true this is?

you ever notice how when people talk about immigration they only think that Mexicans migrate here...im from boston and there's is a pretty decent amount of Irish immigrants who aren't here legally. but they are white so they dint really have to worry...

Does that mean POC specifically are going to be moreso affected than white or white-passing undocumented immigrant? That sounds pretty true to the climate in our country, sadly.

There's a lot to unpack in that statement. 
I mean I do think this administration has more of an issue with brown immigrants than white ones, but DACA isn't race or country specific. 
It also sounds like that person is cool with certain demographics being targeted…

Ever notice that when people of color immigrate, it's called immigration. When white people do it it's called becoming an ex-pat.

Oh yes 100% POC immigrates are the targets here, always have been. Republicans never say ANYTHING about white illegal immigrants, however are usually staunchly against Mexicans and think all Mexicans are illegal etc etc.
POC will be effected by all of this way more than white and white passing immigrants.

No. DACA affects people of all color. I just saw an interview of a college student of Romanian descent (he looked white) who will be affected.

When it comes to how "the people" perceive it yes, I believe there's definitely racist "undertones" or motivation. When it comes to how the gov may see it, DACA can effect any immigrant of any "color" ,but I'm definitely not doubting that POC are going to take up the majority
