I have had the Mirena implant before and been on several birth control pills in the past. None of seemed to really work for me. They made me moody, depressed and killed my sex drive. I got off all birth control methods, other than condoms, three months ago and I feel great! I'm actually a really nice person and have a very high sex drive when the birth control isn't messing up my hormones. (My husband loves me now):)The problem is that since I'm married I really don't see condoms as a long term option. They kinda kill the mood for me a little bit too. I'm considering getting my tubes tied. I feel like that would be the answer to my prayers in terms of no more side effects from birth control hormones and a safe way to prevent pregnancy. Has anyone had their tubes tied? What are your thoughts?
