tracking with fertomid HELP!!

so I need help ladies!!!

I recently had a miscarriage and only one period after. My Dr put me on Fertomid for 5 days even though I.didn't have a period. I went back to her on day 12. I had 3 follicles. She said I would have a period if it was not fertilized, so if I do not get my period, to test for pregnancy. problem is I do not know to track it and forgot to ask, I was too excited to see the follicle.

how long do I wait for period or to test for pregnancy?
