When I found out I was pregnant I stopped taking my depression medication and my beta blocker after hearing that they may affect the baby. Well last week my husband and mother both sat me down to tell me my depression was getting out of hand, and they were right, it's been bad for a while now I just don't like to see it :( I talked with my OB at the appointment I had yesterday and he suggested I start taking my anti-depressants again.

I started back on them today... I don't know why, but I feel like such a failure as a mom because of this, like I'm giving up or something....

is this a normal feeling? Or am I just being over emotional, honestly I wouldn't be surprised. 😞
