Hi. My parents have been verbally abusing me. They said a lot of things and one of the things is "You're so stupid you've done nothing with your life"... and I'm starting to believe it a little. I'm 21. I feel like I hit rock bottom because I don't have anything going for me. I don't have anything together... I have nothing. Just wanted to see how others are like..

Girl, im 22 and I live alone since three years ago. I guess most of people would think "oh... independent woman, all grown up" but no. Just, no.
My dad owns my house, my dad owns my car and I just graduated from college so I still haven't found a job so he pays my bills (only the basic like water, electricity, gas (for the home, not my gasoline) and food. So yeah, welcome to the group 🤔

my mom used to say things like that to me all the time. but guess what? i proved her wrong, sometimes getting "our shit" together takes time and there definitely isnt a right age to get your life together. its not about where you end up its about what you did to get there. always remember you're not the only one who might feel like this , & just know you dont have to prove anything to anyone you are you, be yourself and focus on you noone else! :)
