how did you feel when maternity leave ended?

my leave is up as of this upcoming Friday. back to work for me and I can't decide how I feel! just going to miss my little man so much!

I was reslly sad but at the same time happy to be around adults again and my co workers!! I also appreciated my time with my baby that much more when I was off work, so for me it was a good thing. I went back part time only

My daughter is actually going to start daycare Monday, a week before I go back to work. I know I'm going to cry and miss her but I need time with adults and to use my brain for more than just making funny faces and measuring bottles!  😂 
I honestly think it will be good for her to be around other babies too. I know 4 months is too young to really make friends but still...

Went well for me, the time at home after work is precious though, I always make sure I get a few quality hours a day with my LO after work. Chores can wait.

I cried for weeks before going back to work I was so upset about leaving her. It's gotten better but I still would rather be home with her than at work. She's either with my mom or my husband during the week and I get to see her on my lunch break which helps me get through the day.

it killed me. I only worked like 3 minutes away and I started back part time. the worst was sometimes waking up before she did (and then worrying if my husband would wake up when she did or just try to shush her up to keep sleeping even though she'd be hungry) it was too much for our little family so I quit after about 2 months and haven't regretted it since. I'll go back when we have a second one and they're both in school! 😁 so thankful to my husband for supporting us financially!

I was dreading it, I cried so much leading up to that first day and spent so much time trying to figure out a way out of it. But after a few days we all got into the swing of things and it's been awesome. I still miss him but we've all benefited from the schedule and being able to socialize with people our own age (baby included) and having some built-in time away so we don't drive each other up the wall.
