I do not do secret relationships, so, yes...if they didn't know we were dating and I felt like it was because he'd been hiding it, I wouldn't be ok with it. I'm not certain of the generally accepted timeframes for family introductions, though. I pretty much never introduced men to my family, even after "dating" for a year. I didn't plan to keep them, it was just fun. No need to introduce my family to a fun pastime. My husband introduced me to his family immediately, and told everyone I was his "ol' lady."
