I got my period as soon as I stopped taking my pills ?!!

Okay so I was only second week of bc pills, but mid week I forgot to take a pill, and then kept forgetting and missed 3 days of pills, so I decided to just stop taking my pills since I had missed so many already. I didn't even finish the entire 2nd week of pills... but now I think I'm having my period ? It's way too much blood to just be spotting it's like a very light period, like the first or last days of period.. but I'm just wondering is this normal ?? I've never stopped taking my pills out of nowhere before so I'm just trying to make sure everything's alright
