Nexplanon Help!!

I had gotten Nexplanon Tuesday the 5th. Earlier this evening, the 9th, I had some confusion on when to take off the sterile strip since my doctor didn't give me an after care sheet. I had taken it off.. By myself... Dry. And it had a little bit of discomfort with it. After about 40 minutes into research and panic saying you aren't supposed to and they come off on their own.. I became nervous. I had placed a bandain on it in the meantime, until my mom had came home. I didn't realize it was a special sterile strip, because when mom came home, she returned with butterfly sterile strips. So since the middle wasn't sticky, and it was rather large for the tiny hole, I cut it in half. So I placed it on the hole and put a bandaid over it. Do you think it'll heal okay? My ogbyn isn't open again until Monday. (PS I didn't have any bruising when I had gotten the Nexplanon inserted only soreness) Do any of you all think I should be okay until Monday to wait and call or do you think it's serious and I should go to an urgent care. I think it's mainly sore since I had peeled it off early, but if the pain worsens tomorrow I will definitely look into going to an urgent care. When I had taken the sterile strip off, there was not puss or anything. But should I be alarmed? Or with the new strip on it, should I leave that on until it comes off and I should be okay? I'm just scared. I should've called my doctor the other day to ask. >:l But at the same time my doctor was leaving after my appointment, I still think I should've gotten an aftercare sheet. The past is the past and the now is freaking out. I'm going to go to bed, I will update on if I feel pain or not. But with the new cheapy sterile strip, I just had placed it under the butterfly strip. SO meaning I had placede the half cut butterfly strip over the teeny tiny hole.
