midwives or doulas? with Medicaid??

So I have Medicaid and I have an OBGYN and keep hearing about doulas. do they just accept cash or checks? what about water labor and water birth. I'm from McAllen Texas ladies. Thank you in advance!! *❤❤❤ Please no harsh words, not all can afford it sadly so I have to use Medicaid, 3rd baby and I wantbot to be perfect as I'm making this one my last..❤❤❤❤❤

you're probably going to have to pay for a doula out of pocket. you'd just have to call a birth center and ask!

Doulas are not covered by insurance. I wanna say our doula was somewhere between $500-700, I think. Whatever it was, it was worth every penny.
