Does Postpartum sex hurt

It's been a week postpartum and I'm really horny. I know I need to wait 5 more weeks for it to be safe. But I'm thinking will it hurt to have sex again. And if so how bad what are some tips for it to hurt less and what should I be expecting?

It wasn't painful for me. We used lube just to be safe. Just make sure things are healed properly and your doctor gives you the okay before you try.

depends. some women have really tough deliveries (maybe they tore, had stitches, etc) and that can have a role in sex hurting.
for me, I didn't wait (oops, and I definitely don't advise not waiting lol) and I had sex at 4 weeks PP last time, 5 weeks PP this time. neither time was painful.
if you're worried, use lube. lots of lube.

i had a csection so i was haveing sex right away .u should be good use lube to be safe .

mine didn't hurt and I had torn during delivery and had 3 stitches  I waited till the stitches dissolved  and went for it the only thing that went wrong was I was on top and he grabbed me butt cheeks to spread em and he re tore me a little now that hurt like a bitch a bled a good bit
