So I feed my 4 week old baby boy for 20 min each on each boob and then take him off cuz if I didn't he wouldn't stop. He cries and I feed him again, but I'm worried I'm feeding him too much?

He'll also take the pacifier but keeps spitting it out.. if I hold it in his mouth he'll keep sucking on it otherwise he spits it out.
I'm not sure if he's hungry or just wants something to suck on?
I feed every 3 hours during the day and on demand during night. But he cries once I take him off the boob so I feed him once again when he does that

Have you noticed your milk dripping or spraying out at all? If not, it's possible your milk is just a little slower for him to get out and so it takes him a while. Or maybe he needs help with his latch to get more milk at a time. Or you may have a smaller "storage capacity" so each boob holds less milk and he needs to take both to be satisfied. Or he actually is just eating/sucking for comfort. If you are not uncomfortable and baby isn't fussing between feeds then you're probably fine to just keep doing what you're doing. My baby usually gets one boob at a feeding but during the day she eats very frequently, sometimes even less than an hour between feeds which tend to go about 7-15 minutes total, and my milk tends to come out pretty forcefully so I know she is getting something (plus all the dirty/wet diapers!), But she goes 3-5 hours at night. As long as your baby is getting an appropriate amount of wet and dirty diapers and is gaining weight you know he's getting milk, so it's really a matter of are you comfortable with the current schedule he has.

Breastfed babies can't overeat, so maybe he is still hungry? Have you asked your pediatrician? Have you pumped to see how many oz you're producing?
