Flat head

My baby is 7 weeks 3 days old... she has a preference to sleep on back with her head turned to her left side... though she will sleep on right as well... just won't sleep with her head straight up... she seems to be slightly more chubbier on the left side of her face also her left eye seems a little swollen than her right one... i googled and it sets flat head does this... I have a paeds appointment in few days and will ask him but just wanted other mommies opinion... any other mom who has experience with this... does the facial asymmetry correct by itself
