Are you scared to live in California?

For those who live in this state. They been saying California can have a huge earthquake after what mexico had as well as the hurricanes can somehow impact california in some way. That it can cause San Andres to brake off and that California can drown afterwards if a huge earthquake would to happen. This is so scary.

I'm more scared of how expensive it is to live out there. Million dollar home and it's like the size of a garage.

There's no way to predict an earthquake. They've been saying this my whole life. It's not possible for the California to just drown lol. California is one of the strongest states and if an earthquake came, no doubt in my mind that we would rebuild and we would do it quickly. Don't listen to the media. If it happens it happens. Best thing to do is be prepared but never fear it

Haha I've lived in CA my whole life up until about a year ago and it won't break off. That's been being said since I can remember and it's bonkers. Not gunna happen

There is no possible way that future earthquakes can be detected. They can be detected WHILE they are happening, they can PREDICT earthquakes based off of passed ones and the patterns of surrounding ones that have already happened. But that's literally it. They have been saying this huge earthquake is going to happen for literally longer than I've been alive. The news is okay to watch to keep up, but don't be a sheep. Don't believe everything they tell you. Your fear is good for their ratings, it keeps you watching.

Just another media scare tactic. I was born and raised in California and they've been saying it my whole life. Real research shows it's physically impossible. I lived through one of the largest earthquakes in CA history and besides the death toll from the bay bridge collapse in '89 everyone else did relatively fine. The state is still there.

I live here and not scared... I mean I am, but everywhere has its ups and downs. Been hearing about The Big One for awhile now... it'll eventually happen but no one knows when 🤷🏻‍♀️
