missed period on the mini pill?

I am new to the mini pill and I am on my third pack. My last period was in July and I completely missed my period last month. Right now my period is due today and my anxious self can't by freak out a little. I don't use condom with my boyfriend but he always pulls out so I the risks are basically non existant but has it happen to someone to completely miss a period while on the mini pill? I still live with my parents and my mom doesn't always mind her business so taking a test would be risky. So basically I know the risks are basically very low but I've been bloated since last month and had crazy pms for two weeks last month
