New to this whole thing- what to expect

Leslie

Hey everyone!

I'm 27 and so is my husband. We have been off birth control for 4 years, one chemical pregnancy, tons of testing for both of us later, he's been diagnosed with low motility. I am currently fine.

He has a urologist appointment next Monday but of course I'm the worry wart and have been looking into a lot of things I should probably wait on.

Firstly, have any of your spouses tried clomid off label for male infertility? What were your outcomes?

Do you go straight to IUI after being on clomid for a little while or is there a semen analysis to see if there is any significant change in morphology, count, motility etc.?

Lastly, any tricare beneficiaries out here? I know they don't cover the actual IUI or the IVF but they will cover meds and gamete retrieval. Is that all they cover? Out of pocket costs I should be concerned about?

Sorry for the long post everyone, I'm just so overwhelmed especially since two girls at my job are also pregnant now too. It's getting tough emotionally and mentally already.
