Ladies opinion

I'm 24 gunna be 25 in October me n my wonderful husband have been trying to conceive for almost 2 yrs yesterday is my normal period start date n I did bleed but I stopped today. It got lighter all day yesterday n today nothing I'm very sick I have fever chills n severe back pain. I went to the hospital n my husband said there's no way she pregnat cause "he has 3% motility" n I started my period I have only been taking ibuprofen 800mg? Can that stop my period?? Or should I buy a test. N I did have cramping on my left side of my ovaries area all day today
