Aunties/uncle

Some grown man just referred to himself as my uncle which really bothered me. I'm 24 I don't want to call strangers aunties and uncles just because they are my parents friends. What's wrong with giving your real name?

Just like how I don't like to call my parents cousin's aunties/uncles--I know who my real auntie and uncle are....

I remember when I worked at an Asian restaurant every man would refer to himself as my uncle. I'm Asian too but just because you are older than me doesn't make you my uncle!! Weirdo.
