Shared Nursery??

Question

I'm expecting, and our lil guy will be here mid February. He'll have to share a room with my 13 month old son. 
Any suggestions for a shared bedroom?? Do I upgrade my older son to a toddler bed? I don't really know how to execute space well, especially for 2 babies!
It's a decent sized bedroom, but the placement of closets, bathroom, and balcony door are very awkward.

We're kind of in the same boat. We plan to keep the new babe in our room for the first 5-6 months but then they'll be sharing a room. We happen to have a pack n play so we'll just move it into the bedriom and our first can stay in the crib until she's ready to transition. It's not a huge room but pack n plays are smaller than cribs so it should be do-able. Maybe that would work for you as well?
